This dreamlike work depicts gold-lined figures dancing and playing beneath a turquoise night sky, one kite still flying overhead. Shimmering line and scattered points of light blur the boundary between the figures and their surroundings, evoking both celebration and longing and inviting viewers to hold on to joy as the day ends.
