About the work
This energetic painting throws a tangle of black line across a burning red ground, from which figures emerge mid-dance. Flashes of blue, yellow and green punctuate the chaos, capturing the exhilaration of festivity and prompting viewers to find their own place within the rhythm of the crowd.
